This listing is for a vintage Web Sterling Baby Rattle attached to a blue plastic or lucite teething ring. The rattle is marked “Web Sterling” on the back and does not appear to react to a magnet, though the metal ball inside the rattle does seem to react to a magnet. Please note that this piece does not have a 925 marking.
This baby rattle is in fairly good condition for its age, but it is in used vintage condition. There are no chips or cracks in the blue plastic teething ring, nor are there any deep scratches. The metal bell shaped rattle is in similarly good condition, but it does have a small dent on the bottom front of the rattle. This rattle has also been etched with the monogram and date “SOF 6-3-86” on the front. There is nothing but the “Web Sterling” mark etched on the back.
Overall, this piece would make a great collectible item for anyone who collects vintage nursery items, lucite or other old vintage plastic items, or someone who is looking for items to use as vintage nursery decor.

Similarly, we make no claim that the metal used to make the rattle is definitively sterling silver and are only using “Sterling” in our title and description due to the “Sterling” mark present on the piece itself and want to reiterate that this piece has no “925” mark on it.
