This listing is for an adorable PY Japan Lady Head salt or pepper shaker. This shaker depicts a sweet looking older woman, possibly a grandmother type character, with tied back gray hair, blue eyes, red lips, a white ruffle collar, and a green hat with a white feather and a yellow sculpted ribbon. Please note that this listing is for a singular shaker and is intended to be purchased as a replacement shaker or as a decor piece.
This shaker is marked “PY Japan” on the bottom as well as having a mark that looks like a capital “N” inside of a capital “C”. There is also a black and silver sticker on the side of the head that says “Hand Painted ‘Coronet’ Japan” on it.
This shaker is in very good used vintage condition and has no visible crazing, no cracks, and only one small flea bite chip on the side brim of the hat. There is another white spot next to the chip that looks like it could be a second chip, however it is completely smooth and feels like it was glazed over; this leads us to believe that this is a mark left over from the manufacturing process and not a chip or some kind of damage. 
This salt or pepper shaker is still in good usable condition and would make a great replacement piece for a missing or damaged shaker from the same set or for use as practical kitchenware, as a small piece of kitchen decor, or as a unique addition to a salt and pepper shaker collection.
