This listing is for a beautiful large crystal clear Blenko glass waffle ashtray. The #697L is often referred to as a "monumental" piece of mid-century glass. Part of the Waffle or Ice Cube texture series, this piece is attributed to Joel Philip Myers (Blenko Design Director 1963–1970).
This ashtray is in great condition and has no visible chips or cracks. It does have some scuff marks or scratches on the bottom of the ashtray, but those are likely from past use and display. This piece does not have an original Blenko product sticker. Please keep in mind that these glass pieces are handmade and will have some natural variation in shape, size, color, and texture. These natural variations help add to the charm and beauty of Blenko pieces and help them stand out in any art glass collection.
